Your Computer My wife is a fan
of garage sales. People have given her older PCs, because
they were 'shot'. They all went out and bought a new one.
She'll bring them home. A lot of times it's something minor;
a bad memory stick, a bad CD-ROM will cause a computer to
crash. I'll fix these throw-aways, and usually give them to
someone's grandchild.
Before you give up on your machine, call
us. We will fix it.
We use brand name parts, and can get them
at a much lower cost than retail. Our labor is much
less than any dealer.
Satisfied customers are very important to
us.
If we feel that the cost of repairing you
computer is not in your best interest, we will tell you.
There are many inexpensive new computers on the market.
Sometimes it might be best to give up the old one, and
spring for a new one. We will tell you that, if need be.
Hard drives crash! Most of the
time your data (treasured pictures, important files, email
setting and messages, etc.) can't be recovered. Be sure
to make backups.
Tip: I store almost all of my
important files in the 'My Documents' folder. It's easy to
click on that folder, Go to 'Edit/Select All' then copy and
paste them to a CD or DVD burner. If you do this regularly,
it will save you a lot of grief.
